The Kingdom of Denmark is a constitutional monarchy headed by Queen Margrethe II and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Denmark is in Northern Europe and is the smallest of the Nordic countries. The greater part of the country lies on the Jutland Peninsula and the rest on 443 islands (population density is 76 of them). For territory of Denmark belongs also the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Denmark has land borders only with the Germans. Oresund Strites separates Denmark from Sweden, Skagerrak and Kattegat Straits' from Norway.

One of the most famous Scandinavian countries and also very interesting in many respects is Denmark. Denmark is a member of NATO, the UN and the European Union. What makes it special is that, relative to other countries in the world has the highest taxes, representing 49% of GDP, however, despite this, many Poles are increasingly choosing to visit and take a job there. Should also draw attention to fact that Denmark is self-sufficient energy through natural energy sources (windmills). Country in the world is known mainly from Andersen's fairy tales, Lego and Carlsberg beer, but what is most inclined to visit it is the culture and customs, architecture and geography. As a nation, the Danes are peculiar, and subjected to standards of modern Europe. Main religion is Lutheranism, which, however, more than religiosity is associated with national identity. Danish population is 91% of Danes and national minorities are mainly Germans. Poles set off more frequently to that country because of earnings and many of them gone there to build career.
