Scandinavia

Scandinavia is a region in northern Europe, which includes Denmark, Norway and Sweden. It is a part of the so-called Nordic countries (nord, nordisk - north, northern), which is well beyond those of Iceland and Finland, and sometimes they have been classified as to Estonia. Given the geographical aspect of the name refers to the Scandinavian countries located on the Scandinavian Peninsula (Norway and Sweden) but due to historical and cultural ties (such as the Kalmar Union, mythology, languages, currency name) traditionally belongs to her and Denmark.
Denmark
The Kingdom of Denmark is a constitutional monarchy headed by Queen Margrethe II and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Denmark is in Northern Europe and is the smallest of the Nordic countries. The greater part of the country lies on the Jutland Peninsula and the rest on 443 islands (population density is 76 of them). For territory of Denmark belongs also the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Denmark has land borders only with the Germans. Oresund Strites separates Denmark from Sweden, Skagerrak and Kattegat Straits' from Norway.

Constitution of the Kingdom of Norway is a constitutional monarchy. A country is ruled by King Harald V and the head of government - Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. It is the second country in Europe in terms of the smallest in population. Norway is in Northern Europe on the Scandinavian Peninsula. Territory of Norway also includes: northern areas of Svalbard and Jan Mayen archipelagos, Bouvet and Peter I Island, and also Queen Maud Land. Norway has land borders with Finland, Sweden and Russia. Skagerrak and Kattegat straits' separates Norway from Denmark.
Sweden
The Kingdom of Sweden is a constitutional monarchy. Country is governed by a King Carl XVI Gustaf and Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. Sweden is almost three fifths of the Scandinavian Peninsula area, and almost 5% of Europe. It is located in Northern Europe and belongs to the Scandinavian countries. Swedish territory is beyond the Scandinavian Peninsula also belongs islands: Gotland, Öland and numerous offshore islands. It has land borders with Norway and Finland and by sea to Denmark, Germany and Polish.
